Overview
A track can be linked to as many playlists as you want. Linking a track doesn’t move it — it just creates a reference. The track stays in your library and shows up in every playlist you’ve linked it to.
Currently selected track
When you click a row in any playlist, that track loads into the right-hand panel. From there you can link or unlink playlists for just that track.
Link the current track to playlists
- Click the track row so it appears in the right-hand panel.
- In the Playlists section under the track details, click any playlist name to link.
- Linked playlists turn red. Click again to unlink.
Link from the extension popup (before adding to library)
When you’re on a Bandcamp or Beatport page and haven’t added the track yet:
- Click the TrackDen extension icon.
- In the popup, click Show playlists.
- Click any playlist name to link. Linked ones turn red.
- Click + Add to library — the track lands in your library, linked to the selected playlists.
Create and link a playlist on the fly
If the playlist you want doesn’t exist yet:
- From the popup or the selected-track panel, click Show playlists if needed.
- Type a new playlist name into the playlist search bar.
- Click the + icon that appears next to it.
- The playlist is created and the current track is linked to it.
Remove the current track from a playlist
Click the linked (red) playlist name. It returns to grey, indicating it’s no longer linked.
Multiple tracks
To link several tracks at once, first select them from a playlist (use checkboxes or shift-click), then do one of the following:
- Click the + icon next to the target playlist name in the left sidebar.
- Drag one of the selected tracks onto the target playlist name in the sidebar.
Remove multiple tracks from a playlist
Select the tracks you want to remove and click the de-link icon in the action bar. They’re removed from the playlist but stay in your library.
