Terms of use.
By installing TrackDen, you agree to these terms. They are short, plain, and try not to be sneaky. You can stop using TrackDen at any time — just uninstall the extension.
- Use TrackDen for personal music-collection management. Free to install and use.
- It comes "as is". We try hard, but we can't guarantee everything always works — platforms change their HTML, things break.
- Don't redistribute or repackage TrackDen as your own product. Forking for personal use is fine; reselling isn't.
- Bandcamp and Beatport have their own terms. TrackDen automates actions you take on those platforms — you're still bound by their rules.
- Uninstall any time. Removing the extension is the only "cancellation" needed — no account, nothing to revoke.
Your agreement
By installing or using the TrackDen browser extension, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install — and if you've already installed, uninstall the extension from your browser's extension manager.
There's no account to make, nothing to register, and no paid tier today. If a paid tier launches later, the terms for that tier will be presented separately before you opt in.
License to use TrackDen
TrackDen grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the extension on your own browsers, for organising your own music-collection activity on Bandcamp, Beatport, and any other platform TrackDen adds support for in the future.
This licence covers personal use. Using TrackDen as the basis of a competing product, reselling it, or bundling it with a paid service is not covered.
What you can do
- Install on as many of your own devices as you want. No seat limits.
- Export and back up your library. Your data — take it whenever.
- Modify the extension locally for your own use. Don't redistribute the modified version.
- Suggest features, report bugs, share feedback. We read everything that comes to info@trackden.org.
What you can't do
- Repackage and resell TrackDen, or any modified version of it, as your own product.
- Use TrackDen to violate Bandcamp or Beatport's terms of service — for example, automated scraping at a scale they prohibit, or activity that abuses their cart/wishlist systems. TrackDen is designed to behave like an attentive user; we expect you to use it the same way.
- Use TrackDen for anything illegal in your jurisdiction (piracy, fraud, etc.).
- Reverse engineer the extension to break or bypass its safeguards.
Third-party platforms
TrackDen reads from and acts on Bandcamp, Beatport, and other supported platforms. Those platforms have their own terms of service — by using TrackDen with them, you remain responsible for staying within their rules. We don't override or supersede them.
If a platform changes its UI or policies in a way that breaks TrackDen, we'll fix it as fast as we can — but we can't guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.
No warranty
TrackDen is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do our best, but we can't promise the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser version forever.
You use TrackDen at your own discretion and risk. Back up your library regularly — TrackDen has a built-in auto-backup feature; use it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackDen and its developer(s) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the extension — including loss of library data, missed purchases, or platform actions that didn't complete as expected.
Our total liability for any claim related to TrackDen is limited to the amount you've paid us, which right now is $0.
Termination
You can stop using TrackDen at any time by uninstalling the extension. There's nothing to cancel, no subscription to revoke. Your local library remains on your device until you delete browser data.
We can terminate your licence to use TrackDen if you materially breach these terms (e.g. redistributing it commercially). In that case the extension may stop working in your browser. We'd reach out first if it ever came to that.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the Updated date at the top will move. Material changes will also surface in the Changelog. Continuing to use TrackDen after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are intentionally short and human. If anything reads like impenetrable legalese, that's a bug — tell us and we'll rewrite it.
