TrackDen stores your data locally on your own device, no data of yours is stored externally by us or third-party services. Am I able to sync my data to my Google account? Your library is stored on your local device in your browser's local storage. You are however able to sync your library across diffent devices/browsers if you enable the functionality and are logged in to your Google profile on both devices. Is TrackDen associated with Bandcamp? While TrackDen is aimed at Bandcamp users, there is no official association between Bandcamp and TrackDen. Can TrackDen make purchases for me? TrackDen does not store or record any sensitive payment information. The extension tries to automate as many of the manual tasks that users perform when using bandcamp.com. Purchases need to be manually completed by yourself on , after which you can sync your purchases with TrackDen. Can I manage my music offline? Because TrackDen sends requests using a browser connected to the internet, you will need to be online to perform any online actions such as purchases or adding tracks to your cart. You are however able to view your latest synced collection and organise your playlists without an internet connection. Who can view my library? TrackDen stores all data locally, this means you and only you are able to view your TrackDen library (not even the developer wizards can view it). Getting started Can I install TrackDen on other browsers such as Safari and Opera? Currently, TrackDen is built for Google Chrome and Mozilla FireFox browsers, however Safari is on the roadmap. I've installed TrackDen but can't see the icon? You need to pin the icon to your browser toolbar. Why are my prices being displayed as $0.00? This is most likely due to you not updating your FX rates when you altered your home currency. Are the FX rates used for making purchases? The configured rates are used for display purposes only and will not affect prices during purchasing or adding to cart. The currency of a song or album is determined by the artist on Bandcamp, and Bandcamp will automatically convert the price into USD on purchase. Song and album actions The popup is showing a different song to whats on my screen? This means that an error occurred on that specfic page due to the nuances in the page. This means that the track's page on Bandcamp does not have any audio preview available. Can I undo a track removal? Track removal is final and cannot be undone so use with caution. Can I purchase a track directly through TrackDen? All purchases must be made on the online platforms themeselves, after which you can sync the details back to TrackDen to keep a record of your purchases. Can I play my downloaded track on TrackDen? Due to security reasons , TrackDen does not access the personal files on your machine and therefore cannot play the tracks without you uploading them each time. You can however continue to preview the audio like usual. Playlist actions Can I import my own tracks that I have in a file? As long as the file format follows the standard and the tracks URLs are from Bandcamp then yes. I can't re-order my 'All tracks' playlist? Your 'All tracks', 'Cart', 'Purchases' and 'Wishlist' playlists are automatically created from your actions and therefore you are unable to re-order them, but you can sort them by detail. I'm recieving errors saying a track is not found? This means that the particular track could not be matched on the album, you are able to add a track to your library from it's page if you find it. Is my library automatically backed up? If you have Google Syncing enabled, any changes you make will be synced across browsers. However, the data is not stored on external servers and therefore to ensure you don't lose your library, you must manually create backup files and save them on your own devices. Can I restore a backup on a different device? You are able to restore a TrackDen backup file onto any other TrackDen instance. Is my library automatically synced? You first need to enable the "Sync changes to Google" setting in TrackDen and then make sure that you have enabled on your Google account My sync storage is full, what do I do? Google allows limited sync storage, if your's is full, any pending tracks will be uploaded when there is available space. In order for the sync storage to clear, simply open up TrackDen on your other device and the uploaded items will be synced to the other device and cleared from the sync storage.
